I grew up playing drums, and not in the most typical way a drummer is thought of these days.
Jazz was the music of choice for me, and to this day, it is my favorite genre and style of playing.
Here is a list of my top five jazz songs I beleive everybody should listen to at some point in life:
- "All Blues" - Miles Davis
- "Take Five" - Dave Bruebeck
- "Autumn Leaves" - Cannonball Adderley
- "Moanin'" - Art Blakey
- "Blue Train" - John Coltrane
It just so happens that these top five songs are also performed by my top five jazz musicians.
