The Refugee Olympic Team

When I began this assignment, I had the Olympics on in the background. The story of the Refugee Olympic Team came on, and it was inspiring. It is far more interesting than anything I have ever done, and I wanted to learn more about the athletes, so I decided to make them the subject of my first webpage.

The team consists of 10 men and women who had to leave their home countries due to war or persecution. Their goal is to raise awareness of the plight of refugees around the world, offer hope to those who were/are in their situation and to, of course, compete.
